Kane Signs New Contract at Bayern

Salary Set: Kane Agrees to New Bayern Deal

FC Bayern and Harry Kane have reached a verbal agreement in principle on a new long-term contract running through June 2029, and the salary terms are also reportedly settled.

Kane’s new deal with FC Bayern is taking clearer shape. After earlier reports of a basic agreement on an extension through 2029, the financial details are now said to be resolved as well.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, citing Sky reporter Michael Bridge, reports that both the contract term and the financial terms have already been negotiated. The contract documents are now with the lawyers, who are reviewing the deal and are expected to approve it for signing.

From Bayern’s perspective, the key development is that Kane has agreed in principle to the new contract. For Kane, only the final formalities appear to remain.

This confirms a trend that has become increasingly clear in recent days. Reports had already suggested that Bayern and Kane had agreed on an extension through 2029. Although the new annual salary has not been publicly disclosed, an agreement on compensation is reportedly in place.

The 33-year-old’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027. The new deal would tie him to FC Bayern for two more years.

Club and Player Signal Long-Term Plans

Bayern officials have repeatedly made clear in recent months that they are planning for the long term with their star striker. Kane has also signalled on several occasions that he feels at home in Munich and is open to staying longer.

Most recently, sporting director Max Eberl said talks were going well but had not yet been finalised. At the time, he noted that some details still needed to be worked out.

Now, everything indicates that the contract only needs to be finalised from a legal standpoint. Once the documents are reviewed and approved, the signing could take place.

This would settle one of the most important questions about the future of the Bayern squad. Kane wants to stay, and both sides have apparently already agreed on the contract term and salary.
